Verizon Wireless Upgrade | Any Discounts for Upgrading Now?
I have a question and hopefully someone can answer it here. I want to upgrade my phone but it does not come due until August. I am not the primary account holder, so I was wondering what kind of discount I could get if I upgraded to the Motorola Krave now.
It does not matter if you are not the account holder, (unless the upgrade is not for you), as long as you are sure the upgrade is for your phone, its the same discount as the primary account holder’s discount would be. Anyway, discounts are around half the price of the regular price of a phone to 45% off. However, the longer you wait, the cheaper the phone that you want to upgrade to gets. You can even get your phone free of charge if you wait long enough for the discount to decrease..

The primary account holder must be the one to do the upgrade. Or they must have you authorized on the account to make changes. Upgrading requires you to sign a new one year or two year contract which is why you must be authorized. Also, your discount is not the same as the primary line on the account. Primary lines qualify for normal upgrades, and also for the new every two program (which allows an additional discount on top of the one or two year promotional price. For your secondary line the price you would get when completing depends on if you sign a new one year contract or two year contract. If you look on verizon’s webpage you can view what the current price for that is right now.
