Screen on my Motorola Cell Phone Will Not Work

My mom has this Motorola Flip phone thats a few years old. I know nothing about cell phones but whenever I flip open the cell phone, the screen isn’t working. Yes the cell phone is on.

he screen is like glowing and emitting light but it isn’t showing what it’s supposed to show. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with it?

try opening and closing it a bunch of times. you should get a picture at some point of flipping it
