LG Dare or Motorola Krave?
I am going to get a new Verizon phone on the 22nd of this month.
The Motorola Krave just came out but I was planning on getting the LG Dare. So now I am really confused on what to phone to buy.
If you had to choose between the Motorola Krave or the LG Dare, which one would you pick and why?
i am going to be completely honest with you. DON’T GET A TOUCH SCREEN PHONE FROM VERIZON. i got the Voyager when it first came out, now almost a year after it’s release date, i have had 9 other Voyagers. i would get problems like unresponsive touch screen. they would tell me to calibrate, i would calibrate but it would still mess up on me. then when on the web browser the phone would just reset itself for no reason. then, it would not read the memory card. it got so bad that after the 8th voyager they sent me a completely new one. they sent me the titanium one. it works OK except that it sometimes doesnt save a picture after i take one. I know of two other people that got the voyager and didnt work. the problem isnt just with the voyager phone. my friend got the glyde and it got so bad that she bought a blackberry at full price two months after she got the gylde. because their touch screens are made of plastic and not glass the touch screen becomes unresponsive faster than it should. i calibrate mine at least every two weeks.
if you do decide to get the dare i hope it works for you. i’m just giving you the details of what happened to me :]
Lg Dares are great cell phones.
Go with the Dare.
Since I have only ever had LG phones, I would go with the Dare.
The Krave has a higher quality glass touch screen unlike most verizon touch phones. The multimedia options on both phones are exceptional, I believe that the video options are better on the Krave and it has visual voice mai unlike the Dare. But, the camera on the Krave was a serious let down, and I found the flip feature unnecessary. The Dare has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which is exceptionally good.
Ok. To be honest, I don’t like either one. I recently bought the Krave and im going to return it. Even though it is a heat sensitive phone as apposed to a pressure touch phone (such as the Dare) it doesn’t respond as well as one might have hoped. It is extremely hard to text with the krave. When you want to push a “W” it might think You’re trying to push a “B”. It doesn’t work well. The best touch phone with out a doubt is the iPhone. Honestly nothing can compare to that in terms of touch capabilities. I have an iPod Touch which is exactly the same thing but without the phone part, so i know what its like to have a touch device that actually works properly. Since i have owned the Krave and **** it I would have to say that you should consider the dare. The Dare is a pressure touch phone instead of a heat touch phone. The difference is, you need to push down harder to get the buttons to work. I have had bad experiences with all touch phones that were made for verizon. I do advise against getting a touch phone, but if you honestly do want to, get the Dare.
I would go with the dare because the krave sucks. I just bought it and i cant even calibrate the screen!!!! This phone sucks. So does the dare. If i had to pick i would go with neither.
